Like a lot of people, I always struggled with making time for the things I really wanted to do.
Each day, I tried to deal with all the other important demands first, hoping that at the end I would have some time left for what really mattered to me. Unsurprisingly, this rarely ever worked out.
What I had to learn was to pay myself first. It’s a concept borrowed from the area of personal finance but it can be applied to time as well.
